Enstrom Helicopter Returns for Its Third NBAA

Enstrom Helicopter (Booth 2621) is back on the NBAA exhibit floor for the third consecutive year, showing the turbine-powered 480. Since receiving FAR Part 27 certification for the 480 in 1994, the aircraft has been sold into 15 different countries, with the strongest reception in the UK and the U.S.

Enstrom, based in Menominee, MI, produces a line of four helicopters. In addition to the five-place 480, it builds the F28F three-place, turbocharged piston helicopter for training, law enforcement and utility roles; the 280FX, also a three-place turbocharged piston, for personal transportation and training; and the three-place TH-28 turbine-powered machine, which is optimized for training and light patrol.
