Cessna Finance Growing with the Times

In response to the current upsurge in business aircraft sales, Cessna Finance Corp is realigning to facilitate expansion and to speed up the credit approval process for both domestic and international activities. "Changes to CFC will include adding account executives at our corporate offices in Wichita and expanding the number of field-base personnel (sales staff)," chairman Peter Redman said. Continued rapid growth in the international general aviation markets has dictated the addition of resources focused on the financing requirements demanded by the global business community, he added. CFC will also grow its domestic operations. Focus and support of the single engine markets will expand with emphasis on Cessna Pilot Centers and fleet activities with colleges and universities, organizations and flight schools. "Our overall goal is a more rapid, responsive credit review," said CFC president Leon Metzinger. "To that end, credit administration and other financing activities currently provided by four branch offices will be centralized in Wichita."
