Goodrich Details Participation in Falcon 7X Development Team

As a member of the multinational industry team involved in achieving the first flight of Dassault’s Falcon 7X long-range business jet in May, Goodrich is contributing a wide range of technologies toward its success. Robert Turpin, the company’s business development director for Europe, said, “We’re proud to be part of the overall Goodrich effort participating in this exciting program, and we enjoyed the opportunity to work with Dassault using aircraft modeling. In addition, our Actuation Systems team demonstrated its capacity to develop and deliver airbrakes and flap systems for the aircraft in a very compressed time frame.” So far, Dassault has selected Goodrich’s Actuation Team for fuel components and flap and airbrake systems; Power Systems’ team for electrical power generation and distribution; and Sensor Systems’ division to supply the SmartProbeTM air-data and primary ice-detection systems.
