AirChef's CaterLink Provides 24/7 Access
Inflight catering problems causing you organizational indigestion? Air Chef's just-launched CaterLink outsourced service may be the antidote. CaterLink aims to prove a 24/7, one-phone-call solution to private aircraft catering, domestically and internationally, says Air Chef president Paul Schweitzer. "Most aircraft operators travel to obscure or infrequent destinations, and spend considerable time placing, tracking and invoicing catering services instead of focusing on core competencies. We have developed a system that relieves the customer of the worry and labor-intensive nature of managing catering processes," he notes.
In a further development, Air Chef has formed a new partnership with the UK's Thinking Food, following an exploratory meeting between Schweitzer and Tony Ellison, managing director of Thinking Food, at EBACE in Geneva this past May. "Air Chef has built a well-respected reputation in the U.S., with a vast customer base," says Schweitzer. "As we have grown we are constantly being asked to find catering solutions in Europe. Thinking Food shares our business philosophies . . . and this partnership enables us to expand our reach to London and, in time, into other European markets."
Air Chef is at Booth 10521 here.
