Honeywell and Lufthansa Offer Navigation Database to Airlines
An agreement to be announced at the Show today will result in Honeywell and Lufthansa Aeronautical Services (Lido) separately supplying airlines with their Flight Management System. In either case, navigation databases can be selected from the Lido source navigation data, and Honeywell will provide technical support in collaboration with Lido. For customers of Lido's online data services, the harmonization of data will enable seamless aircraft dispatch and airborne mission control throughout all phases of flight.
