| Falcon Jet Eyes Far East Fractional Program Launching of a fractional ownership program for the Far East is "the hope and goal" of Dassault Falcon Jet, according to president John Rosanvallon. "We would expect to be a partner in a program there," he told Show News just before Asian Aerospace. "Our policy is to partner with others rather than try to do it on our own." Falcon Jet has close links with Executive Jet's NetJets fractional ownership programs in the US, Europe and the Middle East. The Far East would be a logical extension in line with NetJets' stated strategy to become a global player with NetJets Asia and NetJets South America. A total of 60 twin-jet Falcon 2000s have been ordered for the NetJets program, of which 12 will be based in the Middle East with National Air Services of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which operates the program there. The first Falcon 2000 for the European program will be delivered shortly, and the first for the Middle East next summer. The several Falcon 2000s now in service with the US NetJets program have been averaging 85 hours a month. Falcon Jet supports its Asian operators with a full-time technical representative based in Singapore, as well as authorized service centers in Singapore, Australia and Japan. By John Morris |
