DaimlerChrysler Aviation Expands

Last month's addition of two more jets to its managed aircraft fleet, bringing the total to 11, lets DaimlerChrysler Aviation boast that it's doubled its operations since the beginning of the year. Based at Oakland County International Airport, in Waterford, MI, DCA also provides services in the fields of heavy airframe repair, avionics installation, general maintenance, and aircraft sales and acquisition.

Having expanded its ramp area, DCA is now preparing to commission a new passenger building and is drawing up plans for a hangar that can accommodate Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Recent DCA avionics installations have included HUDs and RVSM avionics installation, as well as TV and Satcom integration on Gulfstream and other aircraft.

In conjunction with General Motors Air Transportation Services, DCA offers a fleet of 20 business aircraft under the title of Automotive Air Charter.
