TAG Fleet Grows By 39 Aircraft

TAG Aviation's worldwide fleet has grown by 39 aircraft since the beginning of the year, marking the steady growth of its aircraft management and charter operations.

Increases to the fleet include four Gulfstream V's to the San Francisco-based company's U.S. fleet, bringing the total to 122 aircraft. TAG's European fleet has added a Falcon 900, two Learjet 45's and a Citation Excel, raising its total to 31 aircraft.

"Equally exciting are the five Global Expresses we have in completion that will deliver to our clients before the end of the year," says Jake Cartwright, CEO of TAG's U.S. unit.

"This will bring our total fleet additions to 44 aircraft, and we expect a few additional contracts to sign before the year closes," he said.

Earlier this year, TAG and Cessna launched CitationShares, Cessna's long-awaited entry into the fractional ownership market. CitationShares will focus on the entry-level fractional market, offering shares of the Citationjet and Bravo models.
