SmartDeck for the King Air 90 SmartDeck, BFGoodrich's affordable new line of flat-panel cockpit displays, is off to a flying start. Introduced at EAA AirVenture 2000 in Oshkosh, SmartDeck systems will feature between one and four large-format displays with integrated GPS sensors, as well as solid-state AHRS and ADC functions. A typical entry-level system would have one primary flight display and one multifunction display, offering unprecedented display and reversion capabilities in entry-level business aircraft. SmartDeck is being designed for Synthetic Vision and Highway-in-the-Sky display formats, as well as conventional flight instrument and moving map displays. BFG's King Air C90, fitted with SmartDeck displays, is on the NBAA line at Lakefront. |
