Day 2

Baseops Taps Moody

Houston flight services provider Baseops International (Booth 246) has named Carl Moody as president. Moody is a 16,000-hour pilot who most recently directed aviation at Coastal Corp, also of Houston.

"Carl's flight background and aviation experience make him a perfect fit," said Michael Clementi, president of Baseops parent World Fuel Services Corp. "It's taken a lot of research on our part to find the right person to lead Baseops," Clementi said.

"I've spent the past 25 years flying around the world receiving services from companies like Baseops and welcome the challenge of managing a company that provides these services," said Moody. "When you pair my experience and perspective with a Baseops staff already known for exceptional customer service, the opportunities for growth are outstanding."

Moody is here in New Orleans on his new company's behalf, although the doesn't officially take the Baseops helm until December 1.
